Alert Triggered field in Survey Response in VoC

I'm trying to understand the use of "Alert Triggered" field in Survey Response. Surprisingly there is no result when googling about it. Can someone please help?

    Hi ChernYee,

    Questions on surveys contribute to an overall score, and alerts can be triggered when the score for the survey falls below a given value. This is useful as it allows us to know when someone has completed a survey with a total score less than a certain threshold.
