Issue Loading Custom Activity From Account

For the past couple of weeks more of our users have been having issues creating a new custom activity from the account form. I have also had this same issue. Everybody uses google chrome.

When you click on the '...' and select the activity the 'Loading Business Logic' continues to spin and doesn't stop. The normal fix for this was to clearing cache. However it does not fix this because it continues to happen. If you reload the page then it will finally go to where it is supposed to. This is not a fix though and I was hoping to see if anybody else has this issue or if they know of any solutions.

    Just so everyone know Dynamics released patch over the weekend to fix this issue. I verified it worked. 

    Currently running Version 1710 (9.1.0.3254)

    I found the same issue

    Google Chrome version: 73.0.3683.86

    CRM Version: Dynamics 365 8.2.4.6 OnPremise

    Hello j12obrien,

    It's a known issue which belongs the incompatible version issue with the latest Chrome browser V73.0.3683.86.

    Current workaround is to use other browser except above mentioned Chrome to load custom activity until new bug fix release for the issue.

    Hi Lu,

    So i actually started a ticket with microsoft and i guess this has been a common issue since chrome came out with version 73. It has only affected some users which is weird.

    There is no JS or business rules on this so I'm unsure what prompts it for the pause. 

    Edge has worked fine however all of our users are trained to use chrome so we don't want to change that for this minor change.

    I'll update this when Google and Microsoft fix this issue.

    I tested it in my environment and didn't have this problem.

    The version of my D365 is 9.1.0.3056, online.

    The version of my Google Chrome is 73.0.3683.86.

    Have you tried this on other browsers like Edge and encountered this problem?

    Also, is this custom activity form set with JavaScript onLoad event?

    If you use Quick Create to create a custom activity, will you also encounter this problem?
