Policing the License - Dynamics 365 for Team Members Enterprise Edition

We're seeing a lot of questions about what the user experience is when using the new Team Members license type.

Coming at it from an ex Dynamics CRM point of view, our (short) experience of the Team Members license is that it does everything that the Professional License does within Dynamics 365 online.

We can allocate any role to the User Account with this license and the User can get on and do anything that the Security Role permits - Team Member as Sys Admin or Customizer? No Problem.

So, are we supposed to "self-police" the use of a Team Member license within the constraints described here:

http://download.microsoft.com/documents/en-us/dynamics/pricing/Dynamics_365_Enterprise_edition_Licensing_Guide.pdf

Or, have I missed the magic switch that turns on the Team Member constraints?

Or, is the magic switch coming in a future release?

It seems many months down the line, and we're still asking the same questions.... Do we self-police the licensing? My Team licenced users are capable of anything their security role dictates as far as I can tell...

As far as I can tell, this is still unresolved as, to be honest, have all licensing levels with Dynamics in the past. I'm just not risking our customers and us as a consultancy being shouted at by Microsoft, so I've created Team Member roles which remove the ability to create or write to Leads / Opps etc.

Is this still unresolved and ambiguous

We have the same problem. We do not find a detailed description of the role team member in Dynamics 365 CRM.

We opened a ticket to the microsoft support which asked us to consult the guide.

For us, the guide is not precise enough to correctly set the license.

Microsoft advised us to open a ticket directly on Dynamics support.

Has anyone been able to obtain the exact qualifications to put to the role team member?

    Thank you
