I have set up a Page Soap Webservice and I create an order via it. When I try to set Currency_Code I get an exception: "Field Currency Code is readonly!"
If I then open Dynamics Nav manually and open the very same order I just created I can change the currency code to the same value without any problem.
I have gotten the same error on a couple more fields, but most fields are working fine.
Which page did you expose or published? Check if on that page those fields are non-editable.
The page ID is 6010323 (PV Case Card), I believe this is a page specific to the PrintVis implementation of Nav we have.
This is the first time I work with Dynamics Nav so bear with me.
I checked in the designer and for Currency Code it looks as the image below. If I compare those values to a field I know is not readonly I see no differences.
the property Editable ist controlled by a variable. in your case that causes that the property ist readonly. check the code in the page which sets that variable Ort ask your colleagues about that behavior.
