I'm migrate 2 Dynamics NAV 2017 servers , their SQL DB's as well from one AD Forrest to another due to the company being taken over. The IT guys state that the IP address and machine name remain the same in the new environment and the Network guys have promised and agreed that the trusts and DNS will be in place. They going to use Quest manager for AD and exchange to perform the migration for AD Objects, mailboxes, workstations and servers. however the Nav servers are being placed on my shoulders to manage that move. don't want to do it to implode on me. Has anyone moved AD's and what would i need to be on the look out for pre and post the move?
