Hello Team,I found an article with different web services for the integration process.https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/webservices/web-servicesCould you clarify what type of the web-service is more applicable?
Hi, it is recommended to use APIs and OData.
Some information from MS.
Hope this will help.
As I understood, to create the integration workflow the Customer should have Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Is it correct, that if the Customer doesn't have the Dynamics 365 Business Central we cannot create the integration with our application?
Or maybe there are other alternatives?
Yes, because you need to use the Endpoint of the Business Central environment to use the API. It contains tenant Id, environment name and other information.
For example, Endpoints: api.businesscentral.dynamics.com/.../d8f36038-1f93-4543-affc-5dc92b6ee871/Sandbox03/api/v2.0/
In addition, if you want to use it on NAV or BC On-Premise, this is also possible.
Thank you for the information.
I understood how to work with the Business Central.
But, I have one clarification question.
I read this specification docs.microsoft.com/.../web-services
This specification describes how to use Microsoft Dynamics NAV web services.
I want to clarify the difference in approaches that I can use.
1) if the Customer has only the on-premise version, this means that I can use web services mentioned here docs.microsoft.com/.../web-services.
Is it correct?
2) if the Customer has the Business Central, I should use this approach https://yzhums.com/6117/
Or I can use only one universal solution, for instance like this? docs.microsoft.com/.../web-services
