We recently aquired a client that runs NAV 2013 and I am not very familiar with this system. Noticed their C drive on their server was running low on space, and a good portion of it is being taken up by temp files in the following directory:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\70\Server\MicrosoftDynamicsNavServer$DynamicsNAV70\users\ADMINISTRATOR\TEMP
and the files are named things like: __TEMP__8e7da74cfbe34038869bae5b9aa91abf.tmp.001 and they go back many years. Can these be moved or deleted? Or is there a way to configure this program to move/delete them to another drive? Thank you.
These are most likely tempfiles that are created during file export or object export. And it should be safe to delete those. But i would kept the ones for the last couple of days just to be on the safe side.
You should also check this hotfix from Microsoft and check if this effects your version.
Thanks so much, appreciate the fast response!
