How to fix HTML Status Bars that do not populate after you upgrade to Internet Explorer 10.0

Have you found that your HTML Status Bar in Microsoft Dynamics RMS Store Operations POS displays a white screen and does not populate with your custom data?

This issue is caused by Internet Explorer 10.0 and it's inability to interpret the code correctly from the previous HTML Status Bar code.

We will be fixing this issue in Microsoft Dynamics RMS 2.0 Service Pack 5 which will be released later this year.

However, in the meantime, I have written an article that provides instructions on how to update your custom HTML Status Bar files as well as downloads for the replacement files for customers who are using the default HTML Status bar.
