When I am defining the project WBS in PSA I'm only able to define Finish to Start relation between 2 tasks. Is there a way where I can define other relations such as Start to Start or Finish to Finish ?
These are found in Microsoft Project but Can't find them in PSA, I'm also wondering if a template was imported from MS with these relations how they are interpreted in PSA?
These are the restrictions that current WBS has, hence the new PSA that is coming shall work with Project and you will get all the features that MS Project offers.
If you are a Microsoft Gold Partner or a Silver Partner, you use the below link to sign up for the preview of the New PSA.
1. Please send us some basic information using this forms link:
2. After some basic verifications, Microsoft will reach out with a Preview Agreement. Please sign this agreement and send it back to Microsoft as soon as you can.
3. Once the above 2 steps are completed, you will get a confirmation from Microsoft and will be able to install the new Project application on the default CDS Org.
4. You will be added to the new Project Feedback channel on Teams and will able to provide feedback, thoughts, suggestions on that channel.
All communications on next steps, actions and Feedback channel memberships will be sent to the "Requestor email" that is specified on the Forms link.
Dear Kuldeep ,
Thanks for your response, we already opened a ticket with Microsoft to upgrade PSA from v2 to v3.
So, you mean with the new PSA that of v3? if yes, please could you tell me if it has a "Critical Task" button that is found in Microsoft project which tells what are the tasks that affects the project finish date. I am not able to find such button in v2 .
