The install completes with warnings, but the Portal cannot be accessed.

I had this same issue when we were trying to install AX in a distributed environment. At first, it looked like a IIS Error :(. Then after some more search it looked like a .NET error. But the solution was to install SQL 2005 Client components on the EP Server. Then it worked fine :).
Thanks. This suggestion led to a solution. I installed SQL 2005, then installed and configured SharePoint Services to use the SQL 2005 database (a Farm installation rather than a stadalone installation). EP installed first time after doing that.
Arijit, you are the hero of the moment. After 6 hours of banging my head off a wall on this problem, this solved it. Thanks very much.
I have the same issue, but i can´t find the solution at the link. Can anyone please send me a link with the solution?
