The how to guide leaves me a bit curious as to which certificate ID I need to update in IIS with the thumbprint information... On page 6 it says Open the Certificate management console, Double Click on the Certificate ... Which one ? There are many of them and there is no "friendly name" that I recognise ... I am a technical novice and was hoping to be able to follow this guide through but alas I am stuck on this point ... any help would be appreciated
Besides the how to guide, you can also download a certificate to use with this procedure on customersource and partnersource. You can install this certificate.
Note that I have not tried it with this certificate. I only have the experiences with customers environments and own CA certificates.
I had downloaded and installed the certificate... my challenge is which one to then get the thumbprint information from .... Thanks
The certificate provided by Microsoft was issued to "AX2012R2A.contoso.com". You have to select this one.
Thank you so much ... this answers my question. I got stuck further down in the ADFS section but I will come back to it later when I have time
