I followed the instructions on setting up the AX connector to CRM online and i think i must have done something wrong. I'm trying to set up the AX 2012 R3 CU8 demo VM to a trial CRM online account.
The AX adapter configuration looks like:
Then I go set up the CRM configuration and select account, contact and order. Then I press configure. Then some errors come out.
I do admit that i am not sure how to change this in CRM. I selected the system customizer role for the integration user in CRM and it does look like the roles are selected properly.
What I didn't see was the Dynamics Integration role that was supposed to be added automatically. Could that have been the problem?
And then i do the configuration and it comes out like this:
QUESTION:Update: As i've stated in the response to myself...it looks like the DynamicsConnectorDefaultServices does not exist.Did I do something wrong in my configuration? Would the CRM issue that I'm facing be the problem? Thanks for taking the time to read this long post.
Actually, now that I compare it against the Configuration Guide ... it does look like they are all services on the left hand side (i.e. AX). But the AX 2012 Adapter Configuration is missing the "DynamicsConnectorDefaultServices" document service. Hmm.... I wonder what i did wrong there? i didn't have that option.
I missed the step where i needed to run the ConnectorHelper in the AOS. i think that fixed it.
thanks for taking a look.
