I want to display a web page inside dynamics ax 2015, what is the way.
I am considering hosting it via extensible control, but find that difficult to proceed.
AX 2015 does not exist. Can you please update with the correct version?
Please read it as DAX 7.
I am stuck displaying external web page dynamics ax in the latest version i.e Dynamics AX (Rainier).
I have not tried showing an external web page. Can you share the details of your attempts?
There is a HTML viewer as form control. Did you use this one?
Eventually you can also open the page in a new tab/window? Can you tell the reason for embedding a page?
Since I have not yet done this, I can only venture a guess, but why not loading it in an iframe, for instance? The UI is browser based, so it should work.
create an action class and at something like this
PS: I have changed the title for you.
I have an web application that I want to embed inside a factbox, currently I am doing that in a form but still have not got ant success. I tried with HTMLViewer, it has a property called HTML, but no option of feeding an URL into that.
You can try creating an extensible control with an iframe embedded in it.
I tried an example using FMLab module, but that package comes to me with some file not properly loaded VS2015, don't know its reason, Do you know any other way to make extensible control without using FMLab.
