Am trying to import Screen Layout through DMF, the records are imported correctly.
But the Layout Sizes, Button Grids and Images fast tab are not getting updated. It is blank for all the records.
The corresponding POS Screen Layout Button Grid Zones & POS screen layout image zones entities are imported successfully.
This is looking like some missing record or missing table. Or some function or filter in the datasource of the form, which causes the record not to appear. By debugging the init() and executequery() form methods, you can try to check which query is executing and check which record might be causing this inconsistency.
Another option if you are not a developer:
If you are using AX 2012, you can try to use other functionality (definition groups) to export and import the layout of another environment. Include all tables related. Verify that the result is the same.
See this link:
I Hope this Helps,
I will check. Do we have any other option in D365?
365 ?...I have not done this operation in this version yet...so the option you have is to use the DIXF framework.
Look this link, maybe some entity was missing:
I Hope this Helps!
I have tried that, but still the issue exists.
I tried this method by Trond Djønne and worked for me.
Inside the designer of screen layout you've got import/export functionality. If you import the screen layout xml file there, after exporting from another screen layout, all the button grids and images will be fetched.
