One of our users ABC has been promoted as Resource Manager to approve 3 people's timesheet.
we have assigned the Resource Manager approver roles for her user ID ABC.
Once her team ( 3 People) submits the timesheet for approval. She(ABC) get the notification as an email to approve the timesheet.
When she goes to the My approval page in EP she can not able to see the timesheet waiting for her approval.
But she comes to Ax rich client and clicks "Timesheet for my review" in the project module. she can view all the 3 people's timesheets and be able to approve them.
We tried to clear her usage data, restarted AOS, and also did iisreset for EP refresh but no luck.
Can anyone help me with this issue?

Can you please try below steps and share the findings.
1. If you are using a standard workflow, can you please check if you have a record ceated for approval in WorkflowWorkItemTable ? did you workflow executed successfully?2. which web browser you are using? did you try in IE/chrome/edge or in-private mode?3. It could be an issue with environment pertculary, have you tested in other environments?
I can say it's not an issue with standard product, or i didn't find at least.

No record is created in WorkflowWorkItemTable. But when i see the workflow tracking it is showing the Assigned to the user: ABC. Due date 4/27/2021 01:00:00 am

We tried in IE, chrome, and Edge as well no luck.
3. It could be an issue with environment pertculary, have you tested in other environments?
Yes, we tested in TEST Environment. The same issue exists. she can able to approve by AX rich client. she cannot able to view the Timesheet on the My approval page in EP.
In addition, I would recommend having a look at LCS.
There are a number of hotfixes listed there.
Just to ensure that you are not running into a known issue.

What is the version of your Ax? kernel as well as application?

Further, Mainstream support for Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1), Dynamics AX 2012, and Dynamics AX 2012 R2 ends on October 9, 2018. After that date, only security hotfixes will continue to be provided for these three versions through the extended support period that continues until October 12, 2021.

What is the version of your Ax? kernel as well as an application?
Kernal version : 6.2.3000.3401
Application version: 6.2.1000.4051\PMIP0023-05.12.2014
Have you tried elevating the approver permission? just to avoid any permission issue. I created a test user and assigned the same approver role. It worked well for the test user.
No Ludwig. The issue still exists. As of now I requested user to approve timesheets from the rich client.

I would like to tell you in detail about this issue.
This same user ABC approves the Expense report and also the vendor invoice as well. My approval page shows her both expense report and vendor invoice in EP. Only for the timesheet approval, she cannot see those timesheets on the My approval page in EP.
One more point, we are using the custom role "Resource manager Approval". This role is assigned to all the resource managers, everyone was able to see the timesheets on the My approval page except her. We are using Ax 2012 R2. do we need to install a hotfix still for this?

you're running a very old kernel. I would suggest you install a latest kernel and see if the issue is resolved. it is possible that this issue is a product defect which is resolved in most recent kernel update.
Kernel update 6.2.3000.5768 is latest, you can download from here- cloudblogs.microsoft.com/.../
On a side note, you are running application larger than kernel which is not good. You kernel has to be at least on same build as application or higher.
Since you found no issue with another user, just a thought, have you tried removing the user completely from AX and re-importing it into dynamics? Any difference?
Are you able to replicate the same issue in Test environment?
