Created my table and my data set in AOT
Created a web project in vs2010 of AX template
Added the project to AOT
Added a blank ax user control page and added my data source, then a grid pointing to that ds
All saved and deployed, new file is listed in the AOT under web/web files/web controls
On EP, created a new site and added a web part page
Added the dynamics ax user control web part and pointed the newly created control from the list
The web control <webcontrol> is not deployed. Verify that the web control is listed in the AOT ( Web>Web Files>Web Controls). If necessary redeploy control.
Have checked AOT and it exists, tried redeploying from both AOT and vs2010.
Still no change, what Im I missing here???
Go to Web ->Web files ->Web Controls -> <find you web control > . Right click and click deploy element.
generate incremental , restart AOS and IIS
I am also getting the same error as mentioned in the first post. I tried your way ,but no luck..
Can anybody help in this regard.
Sorry i dont have a lot experience with EP.
try EP cookbook
Does anybody found a solution for the issue?
I am still stuggling with deploying the webpart .
Have you tried AxUpdatePortal UTility?
I found any time you add another control to the project, there's issues. what i've done so far is any time i add another control to the project, i "Add to AOT" again on the project. This has not caused any issues, and it has resolved the user control availability and deployment issue for me.
I have also encountered this issue, however I can confirm both the ASCX and ASCX.CS files are on the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\ep folder?
Same Issue facing... verified all above mentioned steps still the issue persists... any suggestions?
Resolved... after performing all above steps.. the issue is there is an error in the User Control it Self.. Scripting Language... the Error message show was misleading... once the error is resolved.. it deployed and working fine
