Dynamic CRM is flying – how does that affect you?
“It’s a great place to be and we are doing very well. We’re continuing to expand our staff, and we also have a healthy number of contractors working for us in various roles. We’d historically found these through agents – as it was the accepted model I suppose – but it can be an expensive way to find freelance and permanent staff so we welcomed a new way of finding skilled people.”
How do you think 365 Freelance is different from recruiters?
“Agents push you a lot – often into areas you don’t want. I really like the way 365Freelance is low pressure. We can find the skills we need, at the pace we need, without having to field a phone call every couple of days.
The web site is easy to use and I really like the fact that it shows contractor’s availability status. I can see if they are free or not, so it allows me to try to shift projects around a little to match skillsets.
And of course with 365Freelance there is no mark up on day rates unlike agents. We found some astonishing charges being made from certain quarters.”
Do you have an example where 365Freelance really helped you out?
“We have a lot of projects all over the country, and some of these are best served by having some local resource to augment our normal project teams.
We recently had a need for a specific skillset in the North West, in a particular timeslot. We published a project on 365Freelance.com describing what we were looking for and studied the responses.
Because 365Freelance enables us to look at detailed skill levels, as well as location and availability, we were able to find someone very quickly. Our priority for selection was skills match first, locality second and then availability. We hit all three, fast, and I have to say, he was excellent.”
How do you see your operations continuing over the coming years?
“We will continue to need good onshore resources. To keep our quality thresholds high, our ideal is to have skilled, experienced people who have been in the UK for a long time and have excellent communication skills.
