I have an issue getting a report to show up under the "Run on Current Record" section of CRM for Accounts. I am using Explicit filtering because the true sql that I need has joins to multiple tables outside of CRM.
I have the parameter, with default value. = " select \[account0\].* from FilteredAccount as "account0" " which I got from a standard crm report.
I have one data set, with the following simple query for testing purposes:
DECLARE @SQL nvarchar(max)
SET @SQL =
SELECT accountid ,custom_id
FROM ('+@CRM_FilteredAccount+') AS FA
Any help would be wonderful.
To show a report under run on current record, please edit the report and edit the display in section
I have this setting. That isn't the issue, but thanks.
The problem is even with these settings, it shows up under the "Run On All Records", even with the Explicit Filters set up as explained.
Just to check first, if you are only using
select * from filteredaccount as CRM_FilteredAccount
Is that available in the run report based current record only?
Because if not, then you should check the data source.
Not sure what you are asking....if you are saying "If I use select * from filteredaccount as CRM_FilteredAccount, does this appear in the RUn on CUrrent Record"....then the answer is yes...it will appear in the Run on Current Record.
Refer this very nice Blog to resolve the problem with CRM prefiltering.. Thanks..
