Is there a way to limit access to the 'submit' button on the account form to a defined set of users (e.g. by security group)?
I don't want anyone to be able to transfer new accounts to ERP (NAV)

Just as a remark, Your link pointed to a Crm 2011 solution, but my question was regarding Crm 2015. However, the Ribbon workbench also has a Crm 2015 Version, so I am assuming the same solution would apply.
Yes - the same approach works for CRM2015. :)
