I have a business requirement to be able to generate letters via CRM. The only rub is that the mail merge fields are from different entities.
Anyone have any clever work-arounds for this? Thanks
Refer the following thread. Hope this helps.

Thanks Rajkumar. Unfortunately this did not work for me.
For example, I need to send a letter against a contact with details from a specific case and possibly some information associated with the company the contact is associated with.
For your particular needs you might want to refer at the Documents solution from MSCRM Addons
Hope this helps.
You have to look for some third party tools to achieve the same in MSCRM.
Thanks this is helpful. I want to see if anyone has anything more direct. If not I'll mark this as verified and close the ticket.
Take a look to the following thread. It also suggests DocumentsCorePack Addons.
That was the one addon I landed on. I'll have to send the specs to the vendor and see if that will work. Thanks again.
I think you can include the Contact field from the Case.
But, you need to do mail merge on the Case.
