Hello. I have inherited a CRM 4.0 system with a large number of security roles defined by the previous administrator. Wanted to know if there was a way to find out which users are using a specific security role. Going into the security roles section and double clicking a specific security role just brings up the view with Read, Write etc, but could not find any other option to find the users using the role.
Yes you can simply do an advanced find on user who = a certain security role, Also make sure that your view had Security roles listed
There is an out of the box report called User Summary that will show you this. You can access it by going to Workplace / Reports / View: Administrative Reports / User Summary
