I'm new to Dynamics CRM. The default Accounts view has a Group By picker that allows me to group my accounts by sales rep. However, that's the only default view that has the group by picker, and I can't figure out how to create it in other views. I'd love for my opportunities to be grouped by sales rep.
Does anyone know how to add a group by option to views?
To do so, you have to enable the Editable control over the entity :
and then you will have the possibility to use the Group By feature.
Hi, I have enabled the editable Control. How can I Group the Information in the view now?
What if I want the Views of Leads to be have group by filter but without using editbale grid. I don't want them to be able to edit the records
Sorry for the late answer @ManKern, when you have defined the editable grid, there will be a dropdown button with all columns in the view to group the data.
@Kyle, if you want grouping with collapse option for example, you have to go with the editable grid. If you just want that all data are ordered in a proper order to have all data with the same value "all together but not grouped" you can use the view order option.
@kyle do you find the solution to do that ?
