CRM 2013 On Premises. IE 11 on Windows 7.
We have one user who can not view the buttons that come with the default "Enquiry Associated View" of our custom "Enquiry" entity. We are not aware of any other user who is affected in the same way.
The buttons that fail to display for the user (for all contacts) are "Add New Enquiry", "Chart Pane", "Run Report" and "Export Enquiries".
This is the User's view:
This is how it should display:
You can check that specific user has security role with Create , Read , privileges on "Enquiry" and Report entity and also has export to excel privilege.
Hope this helps :)
I would check the browser.. Maybe ask that user to open a "private browser session" from another machine (so the user would be able to enter the credentials), just make sure you see those buttons under your own account on that machine first.
Thanks Ridhima for your suggestion. He does indeed have organisation rights to all four.
Thanks Alex for your suggestion (I have also signed up to your blog). I will indeed ask him to try a different computer. What would a private browsing session do in terms of identifying any issues please? Thanks very much.
Private session - just in case something got cached. Different machine (where it's working for some other user) - in case there is a problem with the specific browser version. You can also try other browsers, BTW(chrome instead of IE etc)
