I am new to writing an advanced find and am stuck at the first hurdle. I need a report to show me clients that have product ap but exclude them if they have ap and apa. Every time I try to exclude apa it also excludes all ap as it is part of the same word.
Has anyone got any suggestions before I pull all my hair out?
the way to do it is a bit tricky. You will need to use the marketing list.
1st create a static marketing list of contact
2nd click the + button and choose "Add with advance find" add the contact with ap product to the marketing list
3rd chose the option to remove contact "Remove with advance find" remove all the contact that have app AND apa
Finally you will end up with a marketing list with the desired conditions.
Then you can do an advance find to do your report with the condition that the contact needs to be in this marketing list
