CRM 2013 - Using Server side sync
We have just migrated from email router to server side sync, we have inbound mailboxes linked to queues and we have noticed that new contacts – i.e. those with unresolved email addresses are failing to auto create contact records as they had previously done when using email router. Does anyone have any ideas about how we go about switching this back on?
Does this happen for all the users or only some? Do you settings set to create new contacts from unknown recipients? Also, have you checked if there aren't any duplicate email addresses within the system?
If the above questions are already checked, then I suggest you enable CRM Platform traces at an Error level to begin with and check there for any exceptions. That could give you a better indication on what's happening.
In addition, with CRM 2013 Server Side Sync was at it's beginning so make sure you are running the latest Update Rollup as it had several bugs.
Hope this helps,
Thanks Radu - All Queues and All users are set to Create Contacts. There are no duplicates for the email addresses either. - We are running on SP1. I will try the platform traces.
