Within my Portal Entity Form, there is a custom date field that is currently set to 'required'. I am attempting to make that field optional but cannot get this to work. Here is what I've tried/checked:
1) The custom field requirement is set as 'Optional' in CRM within entity customizations
3) Added Portal Entity Form Metadata record and set 'Field is Required' to No
4) Turned on portal content editor, but cannot change any of the field attributes after clicking 'edit'
5) Checked and there are no event handlers or code within CRM field properties
I'm at a loss on what to try/check next. I don't think I'm missing a setting anywhere, but this is my first time building a portal entity form and can't tell if I'm missing another potential workaround for this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Firstly, you need ensure all customization are saved and published.
Through all my test, it can work. You can also test other fields to check to see if it works.
And it is possible cache problem, so you can clear cache or change another browser or use privacy mode to test it again.
If you still can't make it, you can create new date field and set fields requirement of it with required.
