am Deploying CRM 9.0 with SQL 2019, but receiving below error during CRM validation. i knew that CRM 9.1 is compatible with 2019 but not 9.0, and there is no media for 9.1 , only as update on 9.0,is there anyway to slipstream the 9.1 in 9.0 ? and is the below error is because the version is different ? i was already connected using SSMS on CRM server to DB server so i dont think it is connectivity issue.
Assuming you have the sufficient permissions to the SQL instance the quick way would be to add the account you are running the installer as to the Local Administrator group on the SQL Server which should do the trick.
After the setup you can remove it.
Thank you Philip,
the installer account is already in administrator group on the SQL server, and sys admin as well on the engine.
so you think the error is not a compatibility issue error ?
No, it shouldn't as I personally are running a setup with SQL 2019 with D365 V9.1(upgraded from 9.0).
Could you check the installer log under ..\Roaming\Temp\ what is being written.
Thank you philip, it worked with SQL 2019, it was some CRM-SQL ports issue.
I want to use SQL 2019 for CRM 9.1 but we have error in setup
I have 2 problem:
1- The analysis service is not install
2-the SQL 2019 not supported reporting service in domain controller.
Do you have any suggestion?
