    Hi Akash,

To be able to access the development environment, you need to have a customer or partner license. A trial license is not sufficient. If you are affiliated with an active customer or partner, you can install the license to get access.

    Hi Andre,

I don't have customer or partner license. What to do. How to make that possible. Is there any chance to access AOT.

I haven't used AX2012 for a while but I believe trail license provide access to AOT. Check the configuration file of server and client. Make sure you install it properly.

Here is some related post, hope it will help,

    Hi,

Yes, you can access the AOT in MS Dynamics AX 2012 R3. Because the native IDE (MorphX) is built directly into the AX 2012 client, you just need the correct permissions and the right workspace.

You can open the AOT using these steps:
You must be assigned the System Administrator role in AX. There are no partial read-only rights for the AOT; you either have full developer access or none. https://community.dynamics.com/forums/thread/details/?threadid=3f153f69-35d0-475e-a742-26c8a55ee98f
Open your Dynamics AX workspace and simply press Ctrl + D on your keyboard.
Alternatively, in the top right corner of the normal application workspace, click the Windows icon and select New Development Workspace, or use the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + W.
Once the development workspace opens, the AOT (Application Object Tree) will be clearly visible on the left-hand side, allowing you to browse or modify data dictionaries, classes, forms, and X++ codehttps://community.dynamics.com/forums/thread/details/?threadid=8972cfcd-fb6c-4f91-98a6-732118458fe0

The AI-generated answer posted by Shaluma assumes that you have a license, which you don't, therefore it's not relevant for you.

Why are you trying to get access to AOT of AX 2012 if you don't have a customer running on AX 2012?
