A very interesting and important function in your Business Central solution is the navigate function.
This function will show you all the entries the system created in the posting process. Let’s go to posted sales invoices.
Now, if you open or select one of these posted sales invoices, you can go to actions and then click Navigate.
Here you will see various entries created for the posted document. You can drill down to see the detail entries as well. So by using the navigate function on a posted document, in this case a posted sales document, you can trace back which postings have been done or what the result was of the posting process that took place for this document.
