I am new to nav can you suggest some answers
how to import and export files through job queue is there is any steps available
Thanks in advance,
Job Queue is only used as a scheduler to run a codeunit/report.
One way of doing it is having a dedicated shared folder mapping with your import/export folders.
Then you would need to write a codeunit or processing only report that would handle the format of the files you're planning to import/export. You may make use also of XMLPorts in this development.
Once your codeunit/processing only report is ready and manually tested, you can create a job queue to automate the process.
Please verify my answer, if you find it useful, that way others can find this solution easier!
Thanks for u r suggestion i got the value
Brilliant, well done yoheswaran!
If you could also push the verify answer button that'd be great!
when running the xmlport thru the job queue using task scheduler, I always get the follwing error message:
Client callbacks are not supported on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Server.
Also, UPLOADINTOSTREAM results in the same error.
Am I missing sth?
