I have a website developed in Laravel where user can sign up.
I want to add those users as NAV contacts automatically.
Nav offers many ways to do so. DB Sync, we services, add.in ecc..
Witch is the easyest way to do so?
We've done so via web-services using oData. The connector was written from scratch using the documentation available online, but it relies on curl. Didn't use other methods, but I find this easy IF you also have access to NAV developers as they will need to write a codeunit in NAV to take care of the adapting your data to NAV data.
You'd be very lucky if you could create contacts on NAV and don't need anything bespoke. For example, should creating a new web user create a contact + customer record on NAV?
It seems that web-services are quick and easy for getting data from NAV. Updating NAV data is way more complicated.
Web Services is certainly one possibility. If your process does not have to be real time you could consider using the NAV RapidStart feature to import the new Contact details from a file exported from your Custom web site.
