We have a requiremnet where row data should not be shown or used in any calculation for a particular coloum ?
is it possible to achive in managment reporter
There is the concept of a non-printing NP row.
Have you tried using that?
Please have a look at the default MS report examples that make use of this feature.
Hi Ludwig ,
This will not show all the coloumns ,
But Our requirment is to not show these rows for Particular coloumn .
The NP (non-printing) feature is available for rows and columns.
Have you tried using the NP feature for your rows and did that work out?
I Tried This feature in Row .
But all the columns will be not shown ,
i Used the feature Coloumn Restriction .
i didnt show the particular coloum as the requirement , BUt the issue is the totals are including the values in that row of particular coloumn .
Can you provide more information on your total and the calculations set up?
Some printscreens or report design sketches would help here.
Hi Have restricted the cloumn Production for row 3093..3110
But in totals its showing up
Have you tried changing the parameter to calculate first columns and then rows and vice to see if this makes a difference?
How can we change the parameter to calculate first columns and then rows
There is a report setting (parameter) available for that.
Should be in the settings tab of your report and called 'calculation priority'.
Please try running your report with different parameter settings to see if this fixes the issue.
i changed the parameter to calculate first columns and then rows. issue not resolved .
changed the parameter back to calculate first rows and then columns . Issue not resloved
Can you then modify your dimension filter in the column definition and exclude the main accounts 3093-3110 from columns C and F?
You already have a dimension filter in place there and need to extend it only.
modified dimension filter in the column definition to exclude the main accounts 3093-3110 from columns C and F . It Showed only rows 3093-3110.
modified dimension filter in the column definition to include the main accounts other than 3093-3110 from columns C and F . It Worked
