Our customer made a request and when I looked up the documentation I didn't find a clear definition of how I can do it, or if I can do it.
When I input a goal for someone and inside that goal I select child goals Dynamics use the "Actual" of the child to calculate the "Actual" of the parent goal is it possible to extend this behavior for the "Target" field?
Thank you for your help
The value of the child goal "Actual" field is included in the parent goal "Actual" field.
So could you elaborate on your needs please?
If you provide some screenshots, this will help us better understand your needs.
Hello partner! thank you for the answer.
Sure.Sorry if my first explanation wasn't clear enough.
So, in this example I have a Lead Goal (Leads Created).
"User B" has a Target of 10 and created 11 Leads.
"User B" is also responsible for "User A" Goal, that has a Target of 20 and created 17 Leads.
What dynamics does to calculate percentage and actual of user B:
Actual (Integer) = Leads Created By A + Leads Created By B => Actual (Integer) = 17 + 11 = 28
Percentage Achieved = (Actual / Target of B)*100 => Percentage Achieved = (28 / 10)*100 = 280
What I need Dynamics to do:
Percentage Achieved = (Actual / (Target of B + Target of A)) * 100 => Percentage Achieved = (28 / (20 + 10)) * 100 = 93
Is it possible?
Unfortunately, there is no OOB way to do it.
The calculation logic of Percentage Achieved does not support customization.
You could create a new field and develop a plugin, then set the calculation logic you need to this new field.
